Accessibility at Seafoam

We want everyone to feel comfortable arriving, settling in and practicing at the Studio. We are located on the ground floor and have a step-free entrance. There is some parking in front of the studio and on the road.

If you have questions about the space, or feedback on your experience, please reach out. We’re happy to provide more information, and incorporate your experiences into our learning.

  • The primary space at Seafoam Studio is a large open space that we use for community programming and events. It is also where we display art installations. Community members and visitors rent this space for yoga classes, art workshops, dance parties, children’s programming and much more.

    The studio is located on the ground floor and is accessed via a step-free entrance.

    The Studio can be rented for single events, workshops, recurring classes and art exhibits. Rates are available on request.

  • The Womb Room is a private space for independent practitioners who offer therapeutic and healing art services on Haida Gwaii.

    The Womb Room is located on the ground floor. The primary entrance is via 5 steps, but there is an alternative step-free entrance if needed.

    The Womb Room can be rented for single events or on a long term basis. Rates are available on request.

  • Art exhibits are displayed in the walls of the Studio.

  • In the front of the studio, we maintain a small storefront that sells local crafts and products that contribute to overall wellness.

the collective

Seafoam Studio is run by a small collective of women who share the responsibility of caring for the physical space, organizing programming and events, and curating art installations. We collaborate with teachers, practitioners and artists to bring the studio to life. If you are interested in renting the space to offer a program, service or art installation, please connect with us.
