the concept
Seafoam Studio is a women-led, collective-run space for creativity and movement in Daajing Giids on Haida Gwaii. The studio includes three spaces where we deliver programing, share art and sell products to the community, and can be rented by local and visiting practitioners.
We are grateful to the creators and stewards of Sun Studio and Earth Temple, who stewarded this space before us. Their teaching and generosity has allowed a new collective of women to carry forward what they began, and we could not do this without them.

The primary space at Seafoam Studio is a large open space that we use for community programming and events. Community members and visitors rent this space for yoga classes, art workshops, dance parties, children’s programming and much more.

The moon room is a private space for independent practitioners who offer therapeutic and healing art services on Haida Gwaii.

In the front of the studio, we maintain a small storefront that sells local products, gifts and art.
